2 Corinthians
what is your guys take on the movement of glory (shekina?) as presented in the book of second corinthians? I think I see a common motif in the first few chapters that would suggest a metaphor for the movement of God's glory from its differing stages in the Israelite community (i.e through tablets, to the ark, to the tabernacle, to the temple, to our bodies). This motif i believe is meant to heighten the idea that God's glory lives in us and through the gospel. This is done through wording (and of course i am hndered in not having access to the original Greek) and through elicit references to God and glory in both Ezekiel and Isaiah especially in the idea that we have been marked. I think this distinction is very subtly hinted at by paul in this book, but if one picks up on it, it can put the whole first point into a crazy new perspective. What do you think? I assume all posting are Christian, but if not then disregard.
